The Amateur webpage is a great forum to share pictures and
stories and we want you to be “seen” and “heard”.
By
“seen” we want your pictures, let’s see your horse show
pictures, candid pictures, and pictures of Amateurs having fun
at Ontario circuits. And “heard” if you have a great story you
want to share or a highlight in an Amateur’s show career we want
to know about it.

In March of 2010, I got a call from my trainer and friend, Rick
Leek. He asked me if we were interested in buying an aged
halter gelding. My first response was, “why would we want
another aged halter gelding, I already have one at home”. Ricks
reply was, “not one like this”.
That was the beginning of
a fun filled 2 years for me and one great horse…Won And Only
Fella
It all happened so quickly. We weren’t in the
market for a horse, let alone one of this caliber, but we just
seemed to be in the right place at the right time for this
opportunity and everything quickly fell into place.

Interested in a chance to

The Amateur Association will be
raffling off this Hobby Horse Saddle Rack at shows, with the
draw taking place at the Breeders Futurity in August.
Tickets will be for sale through OAQHA Board members, 1 ticket
