AGM & Banquet

The Ontario Quarter Horse 2023 show season has come to an end and we would like to congratulate all of our members on a fantastic year. There were a number of volunteers and sponsors that contributed to our association to make our shows a success. 

On Saturday February 3rd, 2024, OQHA will be hosting the 2023 awards banquet and having the Annual General Meeting. The banquet and AGM will take place at:

The AGM will start at 12:30 P.M

The meal will be served at 6:30.

The Ontario Quarter Horse Association is now accepting tenders for Treasurer, Secretary and webmaster for 2024. Applications can be emailed to oqhashari@gmail.com. Please be sure to submit your application before the deadline of January 21st, 2024. 

The OQHA Fundraising Auction closed on November 26th, 2023. Virtual lessons, gift cards, stalls for some of the upcoming OQHA shows for 2024, and breedings to 3 local stallions were available to bid on. 

One Lopin Machine is a 2005 Bay Stallion sired by A Good Machine and out of Ms Zip Bar. He is standing at Deerpath Breeding and Development located in Puslinch, Ontario. He is a NSBA Reserve Champion in the 2 year old Western Pleasure. He has an early breeding fee of $950 if booked by December 31st, 2023. 

Hez Only Trouble is a 2003 Sorrel Stallion sired by Invitation Only and out of Rhapsody In The Rain. He is a Congress Champion Sire and is standing at Deerpath Breeding and Development located in Puslinch, Ontario. He has an early breeding fee of $1000 if booked by December 1st, 2023. 

Keeping It Awesome is a 16 Hand 2016 Stallion sired by Keeping It Good and out of Miss Awesome Zippo. He is 5 panel N/N and is standing in Mount Albert, Ontario.
