As one of the Top 3 Non-Pro scores from the Area 1 June show, Ashley Caris and her horse JustAWalkInThePark have qualified for the OAQHA $2500 Challenge Finals in Horsemanship!

About the Horse:

JustAWalkInThePark, affectionately known as "Justin" is a 2001 (21 years young!) gelding by Just Plain Awesome (Ontario-bred) and out of a mare by the name of Miss Nattie Lee. 

About the Exhibitor:

Ashley is an Amateur exhibitor who started riding on a pony at the age of 4 and competing in barrels. She transitioned to AQHA competition when she got Justin at the age of 9. 

About the Team: 

Ashley and Justin are familiar faces around the OQHA shows, having begun their partnership in the walk-jog events. They have since graduated to the Youth and now to Amateur competition! In their 12 years as a team they have amassed many awards, but Ashley is most proud of qualifying and going to compete at the AQHA Youth World Show.
