The Horse

Lazy Lopin Version, or "Alice", is a 2012 mare by Lazy Loper and out of Jetsetters Version (Good Version). She was bred in Canada! Something most wouldn't know about Alice? "Alice hates cold showers and can be very athletic to avoid the water ."

The Exhibitor

Cathy has been riding for 37 years, 34 of which she has been competing AQHA. Her favourite classes are Trail and Showmanship. 

The Team

Cathy and Alice have been competing together for 5 years in Trail, Showmanship, and Western Pleasure. They've accomplished a lot in that time, but Cathy is most proud of "being top 15 in Novice Select Western Pleasure at Congress. I am also proud of having won the All-Ontario Virtual Champion Showmanship buckle in 2020. I learned a lot in practicing and practicing to get the best classes on video."

Cathy shared, "it will be my first time showing in the provincial championship and I am excited to participate. I watched last year runs and was very impressed. I am looking forward to compete with a very strong group of people."
